Bills Passed in Congress, November 2014

The following are the bills the House and Senate passed in November. Congress wasn't in session in October. The bills were passed by voice vote except where indicated. Roll call votes for the House are found here, and for the Senate here. The descriptions of bills are essentially taken verbatim from the Congressional Record Daily Digest (Index).

Sudden Unexpected Death Data Enhancement and Awareness Act: Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions was discharged from further consideration of H.R. 669, to improve the health of children and help better understand and enhance awareness about unexpected sudden death in early life, and the bill was then passed, 14 pages

E-LABEL Act: The House agreed to take from the Speaker's table and pass S. 2583, to promote the non-exclusive use of electronic labeling for devices licensed by the Federal Communications Commission. 6 pages
